Day at the Park

Yesterday we spent the morning at the park.   We had a great time playing with the littles and also we got to meet a woman named Nadezhda (means “hope” in Russian).

Matt & Robin’s Adoption…

Matt & Robin plan to get their first referral document this afternoon between 4 and 5 p.m.   They will then hit the road for the airport to catch an 8 p.m. flight to the region where they will be adopting.   They will get paperwork started tomorrow and then return to Kyiv to get their second referral early next week (that’s the plan right now).

Of course all this is up in the air because things change in an instant here.   There were some minor issues with paperwork this morning, but they quickly got it worked out, thankfully.

Excitement abounds!!

Chris Malone

It is a joy to serve our Lord with the bride of my youth, Mary, and our children. Our nine kids are not all living at home anymore. One has already completed university and has started her career. One is finishing his master's degree and will start his career soon. One is completing her freshman year at university. That leaves six at home. One of those completes high school this year. Amazing since Mary and I are only 30 years old (at least in our minds).
