3rd Day of Christmas

On the 3rd day of Christmas…
We are reminded that God has given us a life here.   A life that we can be happy with.  A life of contentment regardless of the differences and difficulties.

God has not only helped us feel at home here, but also is helping us feel like we actually belong here and are not just surviving.  Yeah, there are days that are really hard and frustrating, but isn’t that true no matter where you live?

We are able to see that the culture is just very different.   Neither better nor worse than in America.  Just different.  We are learning to live within this culture so we feel less like outsiders.  We’re grateful for that.   You may think that’s a small thing…but it feels huge in the thick of it.

During these 10 days, we are seeking to raise enough support to meet our deficit for living expenses and ministry expenses.   We are hoping to find 50 new supporters at a $50 per month giving level.

Chris Malone

It is a joy to serve our Lord with the bride of my youth, Mary, and our children. Our nine kids are not all living at home anymore. One has already completed university and has started her career. One is finishing his master's degree and will start his career soon. One is completing her freshman year at university. That leaves six at home. One of those completes high school this year. Amazing since Mary and I are only 30 years old (at least in our minds).
