1st Day of Christmas

Over the next 10 days, we will be posting 10 things that God is doing in our lives right now and how you can be a part of it.
On the 1st Day of Christmas…

God allowed us to move to Ukraine to serve the people here.  We had our plans, we had our ideas, but we surrendered ourselves to do what He would have us do.

We hadn’t lived here long, before we realized that all the things that we planned to do were not going to happen immediately.  It was quickly apparent that our main focus in ministry was to be to families who have children with special needs.   It seemed that we were an answer to the prayers of a young woman who had just begun a ministry to families in our city (there are over 120 families that we know of who are raising a child with special needs ).

At first, we didn’t recognize what God was up to because we were so busy looking for the things WE thought we wanted to do.   One day, He woke us up and we understood that THIS was what He had for us, at least for now.

After nearly two years in Ukraine, we sense that He is moving us to expand our ministry a bit in a few areas.   To do this, we must make up the support that fallen off since we moved.

We are between $2,500 and $3,000 short per month to meet our needs to live here and to have funds for ministry.

We are seeking 50 people who would be willing to commit to give $50 per month for at least the next 12 months.   This is in addition to those who are currently giving.  We trust the Lord in this and ask that you pray with us.  If you feel led to help us in our mission, please click the button below to get started.

Chris Malone

It is a joy to serve our Lord with the bride of my youth, Mary, and our children. Our nine kids are not all living at home anymore. One has already completed university and has started her career. One is finishing his master's degree and will start his career soon. One is completing her freshman year at university. That leaves six at home. One of those completes high school this year. Amazing since Mary and I are only 30 years old (at least in our minds).
