I’ve been thinking a lot about purpose and passion this new year. I’m not big on resolutions (because they seem to be made with the anticipation of breaking them within a few weeks), but I AM big on evaluation and making necessary life course corrections. So I’ve been thinking about what life should look like. I think of Jesus’ life and I want to imitate it. Jesus spent all of His time about the Father’s work. I don’t. But I want to. I’ve been thinking about what that should look like.
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
I don’t really think Jesus “tried” to live His life the way He did. He worked for His Father’s plan. He worked “on purpose” and “on mission.”
