Philippians 4:6-7 is a great verse. But I have to admit, it’s so hard to live by. I mean, in reality, who doesn’t want the “peace of God.” Vines describes it as “sense of rest and contentment consequent thereon”. That sounds good to me.
I really thought (silly me) that the process to get a copy of the Permanent Residency document that was stolen in my backpack would truly be simply submitting some new pictures and the application for the copy. Wrong. Turns out that the police report didn’t have the correct verbiage on it. So I waited and waited on the official to turn in the application only to be told, in a much shortened version…NO. Get a new police report. And oh, by the way, since the case is already closed, good luck getting them to edit it.
Well, instead of worrying, I will trust. And just try to jump through the hoops. And experience the “peace of God.”
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Oh my, so sorry! Be strong and take heart (again) and wait on the Lord to make the path straight, he knows, he loves and cares and will help you. I know that may sound trite but he is our strength and hope. He knows where you are
and what you need and will provide in his way and time.
May you be showered with blessings of peace today!
Thank you for your words dear one. They are not trite at all!
Love you!
