Adopted…Forever

Ephesian1-5
The last several days have been tricky with the Littles.   They have been especially restless, rebellious and disobedient.  We find ourselves saying MANY more negative words than positive words.   And we don’t like that.

Four of our Littles are adopted.  Technically, not our children (in the biological sense).   Yet, they are children of our heart and we actually don’t even think of them as being adopted or different from our biological children.  As difficult as these few days have been with them, you want to know one thing we have never thought?   We have never thought that we wished we had never adopted them or that we want to change our minds about being their parents.  Never.   Not once.

Ephesians 1:5 reminds me today that my Father in heaven has also adopted me.   While I certainly give Him lots of reasons to regret it (and I mean LOTS), I’m so glad that He doesn’t.  I’m so glad He won’t ever “throw me back” and reject me.  I’m so glad I am His and He is mine.

Bless His Name today if you His child.  If you’re not and want to be adopted into His forever family… contact me here :  [email protected]

Chris Malone

It is a joy to serve our Lord with the bride of my youth, Mary, and our children. Our nine kids are not all living at home anymore. One has already completed university and has started her career. One is finishing his master's degree and will start his career soon. One is completing her freshman year at university. That leaves six at home. One of those completes high school this year. Amazing since Mary and I are only 30 years old (at least in our minds).
