Ethan Update – Friday, February 6

The scope revealed more, not less pus in the lung than there was on Tuesday. Balancing lots of factors, we have decided that I will take Ethan to America on Sunday morning for further care. We’ve been in contact with our pediatrician in Oklahoma City and he’s working on getting us appropriate appointments. We have a window here in which Ethan is stable to fly. We want to take advantage of that.

Thank you for your prayers as we try to determine what’s wrong with Ethan and the best course of treatment.

Mary and I do better together than apart in good times. This time will be very difficult indeed.

We’re taking things one day (one moment) at a time and will trust the Lord for each step.

It is a joy to serve our Lord with the bride of my youth, Mary, and our children. Our nine kids are not all living at home anymore. One has already completed university and has started her career. One is finishing his master's degree and will start his career soon. One is completing her freshman year at university. That leaves six at home. One of those completes high school this year. Amazing since Mary and I are only 30 years old (at least in our minds).
