What a summer!

The Summer has flown by. I remember thinking at the end of May what a long Summer it would be – because we would be so busy. I look back at it and think – what a short Summer this was!

Short or long – it was an AWESOME summer! We made so many new contacts and spread so many seeds. We were invited into several new ministry opportunities and we are praying and seeking the Lord’s wisdom on what to continue and what to begin. There’s much work to be done for the Gospel in this beautiful land.

We’ve communicated very little over the summer. As some dear friends of ours who have been on the field for many years tell us all the time – in the middle of the work, we can either do it or write about it, but rarely both. We have found that to be the case. We poured every ounce of emotional energy out this Summer and had little left to be able to communicate all that was happening. Hopefully, you are on our mailing list and got the comprehensive updates last week. You can head over to https://ukraineministriesofoklahoma.org/ministry-news/ and read some of the latest ministry news.

The new school year begins soon in Ukraine and that means our weekly ministries will be beginning as well. We are excited about the new, fresh start. The kids are getting ready for school to start. Chris will be teaching two days a week and helping with IT needs. Mary will be starting the little kids’ school soon, too. We are gearing up for a very intense Fall, but we look forward to it. For now, we are really happy to have about 2 weeks to rest and catch up at home. It’s much needed!

Thank you for praying for us and the work of the Gospel here in Ukraine!

It is a joy to serve our Lord with the bride of my youth, Mary, and our children. Our nine kids are not all living at home anymore. One has already completed university and has started her career. One is finishing his master's degree and will start his career soon. One is completing her freshman year at university. That leaves six at home. One of those completes high school this year. Amazing since Mary and I are only 30 years old (at least in our minds).
